Slough (HQ) with regular travel to customer HQ

About the role
Ready to take ownership of a major grocery account and help shape the future growth of some of the UK's best-loved snack brands?
As Business Account Manager, you'll lead one of KP Snacks' key Top 6 Grocery partnerships, with full responsibility for customer strategy, commercial performance, P&L delivery and omnichannel growth. Managing a Business Development Manager and overseeing the wider business unit, you'll be at the centre of driving sustainable growth and delivering ambitious plans across both in-store and online channels.
Working alongside colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Shopper Activation, Finance and Operations, you'll influence key business decisions, build strong customer relationships and identify new opportunities to grow our business. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership, shape strategy and play a leading role in the continued success of some of the UK's best-loved snack brands.

What will you be doing?
Leading account strategy and performance
- Take full ownership of a Top 6 Grocery account, including P&L delivery, Joint Business Planning, forecasting, commercial negotiations and the overall strategic direction of the account
Driving omnichannel growth
- Own the total.com strategy, leading online activation, sponsored search activity and digital growth plans while ensuring alignment with wider commercial objectives
Delivering brilliant cross-functional execution
- Work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Shopper Activation, Finance and Operations to develop and execute integrated plans that deliver sustainable growth and excellent execution
Building strong customer relationships and unlocking opportunities
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders, identify growth opportunities and use insight-led thinking to protect and grow existing business while creating new opportunities
Leading and developing the business unit
- Manage and support one Business Development Manager while overseeing business unit performance, ensuring sales processes, KPIs and brand activation plans are delivered to a high standard

- Strong commercial experience
- Experience managing complex customer relationships, delivering commercial results and influencing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial and financial acumen
- Experience managing P&Ls, delivering profitable growth and making sound commercial decisions using performance data and financial insight
- Strategic thinking and planning skills
- Ability to create, implement and deliver a clear strategic vision, translating long-term objectives into actionable commercial plans
- Data-led decision making and analytical capability
- Strong understanding of category performance, customer dynamics and market data, with the ability to turn insight into compelling recommendations. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential
- Leadership, resilience and influencing skills
- A collaborative approach combined with strong negotiation skills, the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders and the determination to deliver results
