Business Administration Apprentice – Hounslow, TW3 3HJ

We are currently looking for a motivated and organised Business Administration Apprentice to join our busy education and training team in Hounslow, TW3 3HJ

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their administrative, customer service, communication and organisational skills while gaining valuable experience in a professional working environment.

Full-time apprenticeship position

About The Role

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will work alongside our team and provide administrative support across our education, apprenticeship and recruitment services.

Your Duties Will Include

  • Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries
  • Acting as a first point of contact for learners, employers and other customers
  • Providing administrative support for apprenticeship and training programmes
  • Maintaining accurate learner, employer and customer records
  • Updating databases, spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Preparing documents, letters, emails and other correspondence
  • Filing, scanning and organising electronic and paper records
  • Supporting the processing and issuing of course certificates
  • Helping learners with general course and training enquiries
  • Supporting recruitment activities, including arranging interviews and communicating with candidates
  • Liaising with employers regarding apprenticeships and recruitment opportunities
  • Assisting with the preparation of meetings, appointments and training sessions
  • Supporting interns and learners preparing for work placements and employment
  • Carrying out general office administration duties as required
  • Working with colleagues to ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time

Business Administration Apprentice Requirements

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Is interested in developing a career in business administration
  • Has good written and verbal communication skills
  • Is confident communicating with people by telephone and email
  • Has good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Is comfortable using computers and willing to develop their IT skills
  • Has basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other Windows-based systems
  • Is reliable, punctual and professional
  • Is willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Has a positive and proactive approach to work

Previous administration experience is not essential, as training and support will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.
