Business Admin Level 3 Apprenticeship – Regis Manor Primary School

Key Details
- Salary: £10 per hour, increases to NMW after 12 months
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (Shifts TBC), 37.5 hours per week
- Location: North Street, Sittingbourne, ME10 2HW
Apprenticeship Details
- Duration: 16 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Level 3 School Administration Qualification.
- Training Provider: LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider)
- Learning Mode: All learning is delivered online/ remote.
As a School Administrator you will support with the smooth and efficient running of the school office by providing high-quality administrative and general support to staff, pupils, parents, and visitors. This apprenticeship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy school environment. Your day-to-day duties will include:

- The role will involve working alongside the office and inclusion team completing tasks to support with administration, for example:
- Undertake receptionist duties
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries as needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Scan and save documents in appropriate areas
- Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing documents, updating spreadsheets, and organizing files, both electronically and in hard copy
- Place orders and book courses
- Manage diaries and calendars
- Circulate communications as required
- Manage lost property
Desired Skills and Personal Attributes
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
- Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
- Awareness of the importance of confidentiality
- Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and take on feedback
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and commitment to personal development
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
