Business Administration Apprentice

Location: Poland Street, London

Full time: 40 hours per week

Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote working

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Business Administration Apprentice to join our clients account team. The account team supports a number of clients in the production of their marketing campaign materials across print, digital, audio, and moving image.

In this role, you will support Account Directors and Account Managers who run the account. You will be assisting with administrative tasks and learning the foundations of Tag’s business operations at an account level. You will also learn, develop, and familiarize yourself with creative production processes allowing you to support the team with the coordination of projects in response to client briefs. Client briefs range from:

  • Recording a radio ad
  • Producing a video
  • Adapting digital assets for social media platforms
  • Designing campaign materials such as posters, leaflets, and banners

You will be supported and developed in this role and will gain positive working relationships with internal shared service functions (e.g., Finance, IT) and Tag’s production teams (such as Creative, Shoot Management, Post-Production, Digital teams) producing all client work.

This role is particularly suitable for candidates with a keen interest in marketing / creative production services and supporting in the delivery of public sector campaigns that may help drive behavioral change.

This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience, formal training, and an opportunity to earn a recognised qualification in business administration within a creative production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Support the team with the day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Scheduling and Organisation: Help organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required. Set up new clients and suppliers on Tag’s systems.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records and assist in updating systems. Learn to use Tag’s internal production and technology platform, to manage internal procedures and all elements of client processes.
  • Project Assistance: Provide support on various projects, from organising resources to gathering information and assisting with reporting. Support with briefing projects into the internal teams.
  • Documentation: Support the team with monthly reports and presentations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members. Communicate effectively and regularly with the team and other internal shared services to ensure smooth daily operations and successful project outcomes. Shadow and support on follow-ups with the relevant teams as projects approach their delivery deadline.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Be positive and proactive in raising any problems and issues with your line manager (whether they are internal or those of the clients).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Willingness to approach tasks with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • IT Literacy: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new software.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • A desire to learn and grow in the business administration field.
