About the job
As a Team Assistant Apprentice, you’ll join our Specialty Care Business Unit and gain hands-on experience supporting a busy and collaborative team while completing your Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship.
You’ll build practical skills in business administration, organisation and communication, with opportunities to support meetings, events, projects and day-to-day team activities. This apprenticeship is designed to help you learn, build confidence and develop practical workplace skills with support from experienced colleagues, your manager and your apprenticeship training provider.

What you’ll do and learn:
- Supporting day-to-day business administration and helping the team stay organised.
- Helping coordinate meetings, team events and conferences, including diaries, travel and event logistics.
- Communicating and building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Using Microsoft 365 and learning to use internal business systems and digital tools to support meetings, processes, presentations and communications.
- Supporting purchase orders, basic budget administration and accurate record keeping.
- Contributing to projects, onboarding, training and wider business activities.
- Learning to organise your workload, manage changing priorities and work effectively as part of a busy, collaborative team.

About you
To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you’ll need to:
- Have a minimum of five GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A–C), including English and maths, or equivalent.
What we're looking for
We're interested in your potential, motivation and willingness to learn. We're looking for someone who:
- Is organised, reliable and pays attention to detail.
- Is curious, proactive and keen to learn new skills.
- Is comfortable communicating with different people and willing to build confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
- Can adapt to changing priorities and enjoys finding solutions.
- Has basic confidence using Microsoft 365 tools, or is willing to learn.
- Previous experience organising activities or events through school, college, volunteering, community activities or work can be helpful, but is not essential.
