Launch your career in Business Administration with EPS Pipeworks. Supporting a busy office environment, you'll develop skills in diary management, customer service, document preparation, record keeping and business administration. Wage
- £13,312 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age
- National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices
Training
- Course: Business administrator (level 3)
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm, 32 hours a week
- Start date: Thursday 29 October 2026
- Duration: 1 year 6 months
Work Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Managing diaries, schedules and appointments.
- Organising meetings, events and travel arrangements.
- Preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes.
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintaining electronic and paper-based filing systems.
- Producing business documents using Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
- Handling telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
- Managing customer requests, complaints or queries.
- Building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Producing reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Managing electronic records and business systems.
- Prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
- Coordinating meetings and administrative activities.
- Managing confidential information in line with GDPR requirements.
- Working independently whilst recognising when support is required.
- Supporting workplace projects.
