Business Administrator (Level 3) Apprenticeship
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be undertaking data processing tasks and support, including supporting students and apprentices within the Engineering and Service Sector department, dealing with general enquiries, monitoring and reporting attendance, and assisting with curriculum initiatives in the area.
Responsibilities
- Teamwork: Work as part of a team focusing on the maintenance and production of accurate and timely information.
- Administrative Support: Provide high-standard accuracy and presentation in producing general correspondence, reports, and executing office duties.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with work-based and class-based colleagues to deliver outstanding services.
- Record Keeping: Support managers and directors in accurate record keeping for students, apprentices, and staff.
- Resource Management: Arrange room and IT resource bookings for meetings and events, using central systems.
- Course Setup: Provide support for the setup and start of Apprenticeship and Commercial courses, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Marketing Support: Support marketing activities and the promotion of directorate events and stakeholder events.
- Communication: Serve as a central point of contact for students and apprentices, ensuring effective communication and complaint management.
- Documentation: Produce letters, reports, minutes, and other correspondence using a range of software to a high standard.

- Skilled in using multiple IT packages and systems for tasks such as writing letters, creating proposals, and performing financial processes.
- Ability to update and review databases, record information, and produce data analysis.
- Ability to produce accurate records and documents, make recommendations, draft correspondence, and maintain records.
