Summary
First Credit Advice Limited in Romford, support individuals who are struggling with significant debt, including both secured and unsecured debts. The company are looking for a business administration apprentice to join the team, gain experience in administration, customer service and the day-to-day operations of a financial services business.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Provide general administrative support across the business.
- Maintain accurate records, documents and internal systems.
- Assist with data entry, reporting and the preparation of business information.
- Support the Finance Manager and wider management team with administrative and financial tasks.
- Produce, collate and report financial information for Directors and Senior Managers when required.
- Work closely with the Operational Planning & Control team to provide accurate and timely data.
- Assist with accounting, budgeting and collection procedures.
- Identify and investigate potential operational improvements.
- Assist with analysing business data and identifying areas for improvement.
- Support the preparation and interpretation of reports, budgets, accounts and financial information.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling customer, financial and business information.
- Follow company policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, customers and other relevant parties.
- Take responsibility for personal development and actively participate in training and reviews.

What you'll learn

- Write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages.
- Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem.
- Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
