Barnet and Southgate College is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Business Administration Apprentice (Level 2).

This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while working towards the Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard. You will receive structured training and support to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a successful career in administration.

About the Role

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will provide efficient administrative support to a busy College department, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of services. You will work with colleagues, customers, learners and stakeholders, helping to deliver high-quality administrative support across a range of business functions.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is organised, reliable and able to manage their workload effectively.
  • Has good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Pays close attention to detail and works accurately.
  • Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Is committed to learning and personal development.
  • Has achieved, or is willing to work towards, English and Maths qualifications required for the apprenticeship.

Our Sports Centre at Southgate Campus is available for all staff with cardio, strength and conditioning equipment. The 2-floor gym is free for members of staff to use Monday to Friday within term time.

A range of competitively-priced hairdressing services are accessible at our Colindale Campus. Regularly providing special staff offers which is convenient during lunch hours or after work.
