Hatch Training are recruiting for a Level 3 Business Administration apprentice on behalf of a Student Recruitment Business based in Oldham!
The successful candidate will join the recruitment team as trainee Recruitment Consultant / Administrator, learning the full enquiry-to-enrolment process. They will be given a structured onboarding programme, scripts, live CRM access and daily coaching from an experienced team leader.
This is a phone-based, people-facing role. It suits someone confident talking to new people, comfortable with targets, and genuinely interested in a career in sales or recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Making outbound calls to prospective students from campaign leads and warm enquiry lists
- Handling inbound enquiries by phone, email, WhatsApp and social media
- Qualifying candidates against course entry requirements and advising on suitable programmes
- Booking and confirming interviews with our university and college partners
- Guiding applicants through the application process, including document collection and Student Finance England registration prompts
- Following up applications and interview outcomes to convert offers into enrolments
- Recording all activity accurately on our CRM and daily call trackers
- Working to weekly and monthly KPIs for calls, applications, interviews and enrolments
- Supporting the wider team with campaign follow-ups and aftercare calls
- Completing apprenticeship coursework and off-the-job training hours alongside the role

Essential
What We're Looking For
- Clear, confident telephone manner and good spoken English
- Resilient and motivated, comfortable with rejection and able to bounce back
- Organised, with attention to detail when handling applications and data
- Basic IT skills (email, Microsoft Office, ability to learn a CRM)
- Reliable timekeeping and a professional attitude
- Meets the eligibility criteria for the apprenticeship standard
Desirable
- Any previous customer service, retail, call centre or sales experience
- Interest in education, higher education pathways or careers advice
- Additional languages
Entry Requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
- A Right to Work in the UK and must have been living in the UK for at least 3 years
- Be able to commute to the OL8 postcode

What The Apprentice Will Gain
- A recognised Level 3 Business Administration Qualification with a pathway into recruitment
- Full sales and recruitment training, including call handling, objection handling and consultative selling
- Working knowledge of the UK higher education admissions process
