About the Role

As a Business Administration Assessor, you will deliver high-quality work-based qualifications and apprenticeship programmes, ensuring learners receive the support, training, coaching, and assessment required to successfully achieve their apprenticeship standards and prepare for End-Point Assessment (EPA).

You will use a range of assessment and coaching methods that comply with national occupational standards, funding regulations, and awarding body requirements. Working closely with learners and employers, you will play a pivotal role in driving learner progress, ensuring apprentices complete their programmes and any associated qualifications in a timely manner.

The role focuses on supporting learners to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviours, enabling them to achieve their career goals while ensuring employer needs and expectations are met throughout the apprenticeship journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of apprentices and work-based learners, ensuring timely progress, achievement, and completion targets are met.
  • Provide information, advice, guidance, induction, enrolment, and registration to learners.
  • Deliver high-quality workplace training, coaching, assessment, and reviews to support learner success.
  • Prepare learners for qualification achievement and End-Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to promote learner development and progression.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, tracking progress and ensuring compliance with awarding body, audit, and college requirements.
  • Work closely with awarding bodies to maintain current knowledge of standards, qualifications, and assessment requirements.
  • Liaise with employers, providing progress updates and ensuring they understand their role in supporting apprentices.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local businesses to enhance employer engagement and future enrolments.
  • Provide Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) support, lead standardisation activities, and coordinate External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through course reviews, team meetings, and quality assurance activities.
  • Complete employer health and safety audits and reviews in line with college requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
