We are looking for a Business Administration Intern to join our busy Operational Team, and support in an array of management activities. In this role, you can expect excellent training, support, and opportunities to get stuck in, and a chance to let your talent takeoff.

What you’ll be doing

Some of the things you’ll be doing week-to-week include:

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and distribute minutes where required.
  • Assist with inbox management and professional correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate digital records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Produce professional documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Support document version control and company record management.
  • Monitor administrative tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide administrative support to senior managers and executives.
  • Maintain employee records in accordance with data protection requirements.
  • Draft internal communications, announcements, and newsletters.
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Other business administration tasks as assigned by the Senior Leadership Team.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to us

Whether you’re an undergraduate looking to gain real-world experience, a graduate looking for their first opportunity, or a seasoned professional wanting to change careers or step into management, we will support you in your journey. Here are some of the skills that’ll be required and some that’ll be beneficial to have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Self-Starter with strong independent working skills
  • Ability to dedicate 6-12hrs per week to the internship
  • IT proficiency with the Office365 suite

Beneficial:

  • Experience in management/shift supervisor/team leader position
  • Passion or interest in aviation and wider travel industry

Please note, this is an internship role lasting 9 months. Full training, continuous personal development (CPD) and accreditation will be provided. You will spend 30% of your time on accredited tasks and training, and the remaining 70% gaining 'on the job' experience.
