About The Role
We are seeking a Business Administrator to join our Commercial Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and professional administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting Account Managers and contributing to outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will provide efficient and accurate administrative support, helping to maintain reliable records, coordinate departmental activities, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Commercial Team.
The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to Account Managers and the wider Commercial Department.
- Assisting with customer queries and ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and arranging meeting logistics.
- Taking accurate minutes during meetings and distributing actions where required.
- Preparing minutes and supporting documentation for other company meetings.
- Entering, updating and extracting information from the ERP system.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and departmental documentation.
- Supporting invoice administration and associated paperwork.
- Monitoring action logs and helping to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Maintaining confidentiality, professionalism and accuracy in all administrative activities.
- Providing general business support as required to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Successful applicants will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Strong administrative experience within a busy office environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise and professional documentation.
- Experience taking accurate meeting minutes and recording actions.
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with ERP systems or business databases would be advantageous.
- PC literate with confidence using a variety of software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, reliable and proactive approach to work.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
