Vallectric Limited, a long established, successful building services contractor now employee owned, are looking to recruit a Business Administrator.
Based in the Leeds office, the successful applicant will work as part of a small, friendly team where enthusiasm, versatility and initiative are actively encouraged.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a varied role, managing their own workload, and meeting deadlines. You will become part of a small, supportive team where enthusiasm, versatility, and initiative are highly valued.
The company is prepared to put the successful candidate through a Business Administrator Apprenticeship course if necessary.
Key Duties
- Support Services/Business
- Making and taking professional calls.
- Meeting and greeting visitors to the office.
- Managing postal requirements.
- Managing office supply requirements.
- Assisting with Financial Administrator tasks.
- Processing timesheets.
- Managing holiday requests.
- PAT test training – annual PAT testing of office equipment.
- Running the Company eBay account – including listing, packing and shipping.

- Operations
- Printing and binding drawings and documents.
- Take offs on Mechanical and Electrical drawings for Estimating.
- Uploading and transmitting drawings on different contract portals.
- Putting together Tech subs.
- Keeping the Tech subs and drawing trackers up to date with comments and approvals.
- Calling and emailing specialist/other companies for quotations.
- Putting together the H&S file for jobs.
- Setting up new Sub-Contractors – sending forms to fill in and then adding them onto internal system.
- Assisting Engineering purchasing – putting quotes on internal system.
