Role: Business Administrator
Location: Hampstead Gate Day Nursery | Milton Keynes | MK13 8RD
Contract: Permanent | 37.5 hours/week | 52 weeks/year
Working pattern: Monday-Friday | Varied shifts between 07:30-18:30
Salary: £25,389-£30,517.50 per annum (pro-rata) | £13.02-£15.65 per hour
Be the friendly face and organised heartbeat of our nursery.
As our Business Administrator, you’ll be at the centre of nursery life – welcoming families and visitors, keeping our administration running smoothly and supporting the Nursery Manager and wider team.
You’ll build great relationships with our families, manage enquiries and records, support with invoices and payments, and make sure the important details are taken care of.

You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Love working with people. You’ll be the welcoming face of the nursery, confidently helping families and visitors in person, by phone and by email.
- Are brilliantly organised. From family records and enquiries to invoices, ordering and diary management, you’ll keep things accurate, organised and on track.
- Are confident with IT. You’re comfortable using computer-based systems, learning new processes and handling information accurately.
- Have an eye for detail. You’ll manage important information relating to charges, discounts and nursery administration, where accuracy really matters.
- Believe safeguarding comes first. You understand that every role in our nursery contributes to keeping children safe, happy and well.
- Are a team player. You’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider team, building positive relationships and stepping in wherever your organisational skills are needed.
