Job Title - Business Administrator
Department - Administration
Location - Office Based – Epworth
Reports To - Office Manager
Hours of Work - 30 hours
Summary of Role
We are looking for a proactive, organised and self-motivated Office Administrator & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This varied role combines office administration, customer service, marketing, training administration and PPE/workwear sales.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a diverse workload, thrives in a small team and can work independently when required.
Primary Responsibilities
General Office Administration
- Making and receiving calls, taking accurate messages – internal and external
- Creating, receiving, monitoring and responding to incoming emails
- Create customer quotations and delivery slips
- Plan, manage and coordinate work for the team
- Monitor stock levels
- Ordering and sorting of all stationary and equipment
- Provide general administrative support across the business
- Undertake any other administrative duties as required

- Book training courses and coordinate trainer availability
- Prepare course packs and training materials
- Process course paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Issue training certificates and manage certificate renewals
- Organisation of all training courses delivered – venue/attendees
- Maintain training databases and ensure compliance records are up to date
Marketing
- Manage the company's social media platforms.
- Write and publish blog content.
- Create and distribute marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
- Coordinate catalogue distribution.
- Support the promotion of training courses, PPE and company services.
- Assist with website content updates where required.
PPE & Workwear Sales
- Process PPE and workwear sales
- Manage stock levels and place orders with suppliers
- Coordinate buying, selling and distribution of products.
- Arrange garment printing and branding.
- Maintain accurate stock records.
- Researching suppliers and sourcing products
- Negotiation of prices with suppliers as deemed necessary
Qualifications and Training
General Education
- GCSE Standard

- Microsoft Office – Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Accountancy Software
Experience
- At least one year’s relevant work experience
- Ability to work independently and self-manage the role
- Previous experience of similar role – General administration duties
Desirable Skills
- Experience within the Health & Safety sector
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
- Awareness of health and safety legislation
- Experience using Mailchimp.
- Experience updating WordPress websites
- Marketing experience
