MJ Renewables Ltd Apprenticeship Opportunity

MJ Renewables Ltd is part of the MJ Electrical Group. Working with MK College for a number of years they are well placed to support apprentices. Due to continued growth the organisation is looking to recruit a new apprentice to join their operations team. If you are an enthusiastic individual who is organised, has great IT skills, and would thrive.

What you'll do at work

Duties within this Business Administration role will include:

  • Answering telephones
  • Assisting customers with enquiries
  • Sending emails/letters
  • Filing
  • Photocopying
  • Scanning documents
  • Booking appointments
  • The role also includes marketing within the organisation

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service by phone and email
  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Building up designs, processing quotes including pricing
  • Updating and maintaining CRM systems accurately
  • Keeping customer records and internal notes up to date
  • Supporting general office administration and day-to-day operational tasks
  • Liaising with team members to ensure customer requests are dealt with efficiently
  • Working closely with the wider team to support daily business operations and improve customer experience
  • Maintaining a professional and organised working environment
  • Supporting social media activity to promote products, increase engagement, and help drive sales

The successful candidate will receive full training and will have the opportunity to develop within a lively, supportive and growing working environment.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Course Contents

Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages. Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem. Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.

Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals. Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management. Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work. Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures. Training

Training with Milton Keynes College. Ongoing training, support and development with the employer. Business Administrator Level 3.

GCSE in:

  • Maths (grade 9-4)
  • English (grade 9-4)

Candidates must have their own means of transport and the ability to get to the employers' location in Stewartby and to college in Milton Keynes.

Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will be offered a full-time position within the operations team.
