Business Administrator Apprentice

Safeline Environmental is a customer-centric licenced asbestos removal contractor.

Requirements

  • GCSEs in maths and English (grade 4/C)
  • Communication skills
  • Confident
  • Reliable
  • Adaptable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Other relevant qualifications and industry experience are beneficial and may adjust the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the operations diary
  • Monitoring and implementation of requests from clients and their stakeholders
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure the clients’ and their stakeholders’ needs are met
  • Covering administrative tasks whilst team members are out of the office
  • Liaising with clients and their stakeholders to organise convenient dates for works to be undertaken via email, telephone etc
  • Resolving queries from clients and their stakeholders
  • Working as part of a team
  • General administration to include the generation of the project
  • Completion of files, Certificates of Reoccupation and also critical paperwork

Benefits

  • Wage: £16,640 for the first year (subject to increase based on age, National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices applies).
  • Training provided, including Business administrator (level 3) qualification through NCG.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (40 hours per week with a half-hour unpaid lunch break).
  • Duration: 1 year 9 months.
  • Asbestos awareness training and other necessary training.
  • Opportunities for earnings to increase over time.
  • The role is designed to train a key member of the team for a role at the end of the apprenticeship term.
