Summary
We are looking for someone who is able to provide business support to our busy Hire team. You will be responsible for assisting with day to day administrative tasks, whilst also liaising with other departments and working towards your level 3 qualification. You will be completing purchase orders and invoicing and sending emails to customers.
Wage
£14,560 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age
National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and busy department, who will provide ongoing support where required. Your main duties will include:
- Providing administration support to the Hire Team
- Completing purchase orders and invoicing
- Sending emails to customers
- General admin tasks such as photocopying & scanning documents onto the database system
- Liaising with the Accounts department regarding payments
- Liaising with the Transport department regarding job statuses and delivery/collection times
- Supporting the hire team manager with any ongoing and new projects
- Organising stock T-Card board
- Support for confirming outgoing hires and incoming off- hires
- Scanning of electrical certificates for cabins
- Phone support for hire team
- Support for booking in all outgoing/incoming orders on transport system
- Support for invoicing

What you'll learn
Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to:
- Write letters or emails
- Create proposals
- Perform financial processes
- Record and analyse data
Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages.
Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem.
Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals.
Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management.
Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work.
Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures.
Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks.
Exercises proactivity and good judgement.
Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and is able to deal with challenges in a mature way.
Seeks advice of more experienced team members when appropriate.
Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.
Demonstrates ability to influence and challenge appropriately.

In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 3 Business Admin which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures. Our training is all complete remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7. You receive 20% off the job training during this Apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours. Functional skills in English and maths if required.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in: Maths & English (grade 4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
