Location: Unit 2, Benton Office Park, Horbury, Wakefield, WF4 5RA.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week).

Starting Wage: Apprentice Minimum Wage (£8.00 per hour)

Start Date: ASAP.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career with a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the Commercial and Operations teams while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Head of Waste, you’ll develop essential business skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment, with real opportunities for long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Commercial team.
  • Assisting with data entry, data cleansing, and reporting.
  • Supporting with resolution of customer and supplier queries.
  • Maintaining client, contract, pricing, and compliance records.
  • Liaising with the Head of Waste on operational administration.
  • Supporting invoicing, purchase orders, scheduling, and job tracking.
  • Handling calls, emails, meetings, and general office administration.
  • Working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.

Training

You’ll complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, combining on-the-job learning with structured training. You’ll receive regular support, develop key business skills, and apply your learning directly in the workplace. Your apprenticeship will be delivered by Total Training, an experienced training provider offering expert guidance, regular reviews, and ongoing support to help you successfully achieve your qualification and build your career.

Entry Requirements

  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics at grade 4 or above.
  • No previous work experience required.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
