WTS Energy is offering an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Business Administrator Apprentice. The Business Administration Apprentice will provide administrative support across all areas of the business, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Working alongside the Manpower and Operations teams, the successful candidate will develop a broad range of administrative, organisational, and communication skills while gaining valuable experience within a global workforce solutions business. This role offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in business administration while supporting key operational processes that help deliver exceptional service to clients and contractors worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the office team.
  • Answer telephone calls professionally, directing enquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Update and maintain internal databases, CRM systems, and recruitment platforms.
  • Assist with candidate registration, onboarding, and associated administrative processes.
  • Check, process, and maintain candidate compliance documentation in line with company and client requirements.
  • Support the Manpower team with interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruitment administration.
  • Prepare, issue, and track Independent Contractor Agreements, ensuring timely completion and return.
  • Receive, audit, and process contractor timesheets and expense claims accurately and within required timescales.
  • Assist with arranging travel, accommodation, and training bookings for contractors and employees where required.
  • Track the contractor booking lifecycle from initial placement through to completion, supporting any changes, extensions, or cancellations in collaboration with the Manpower team.
  • Coordinate Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) applications for Skilled Worker Visas, tracking progress and providing updates to candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Support payroll administration by ensuring contractor documentation, timesheets, and related records are complete and submitted accurately.
  • Order office supplies and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Maintain accurate records while ensuring all company, client, and candidate information is handled confidentially and in accordance with GDPR and company policies.
  • Undertake any other reasonable administrative duties to support the wider business as required.
