About the Role
This is an exciting role within a small, friendly, family run business. You will be the first point of contact within the business, working on our reception desk and dealing with clients to direct their initial enquiries, and chasing for books and reports.
As a Business Administration Apprentice at Stubbs Parkin, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
What you'll do at work
- Provide reception and telephone support, greet clients and help manage appointments and diaries.
- Manage general office inboxes, post, scanning, filing and the digital document management system.
- Support the day-to-day running of the office, including meeting room preparation, couriers and ordering supplies.
- Support new client onboarding, including AML checks, HMRC authorisations and maintaining accurate client records.
- Assist with client administration, including obtaining missing information, signed documents and processing client submissions.
- Assist with secure file archiving and develop an understanding of confidentiality, compliance and office procedures within an accountancy practice.

Training and Support
Full training and support will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
Training is delivered primarily in the workplace by an assessor, with 20% off-the-job learning during contracted hours. The apprenticeship concludes with an End Point Assessment (EPA), comprising an online multiple-choice test, a portfolio-based interview, and a project or improvement process presentation.
