Business Administration Apprenticeship
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join our team through a Business Administration Apprenticeship. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable administrative, communication and community engagement experience while supporting a range of Islamwise programmes and activities.
Administration & Communications:
- Provide day to day administrative support to the Islamwise team
- Respond to enquiries received through phone, email and online communication channels
- Maintain accurate records, databases and spreadsheets
- Assist with preparing reports, documents and programme information
- Support booking systems, registrations and event administration
- Attend staff meetings and take notes where required
Social Media & Marketing Support:
- Assist with social media campaigns and online engagement
- Help create and schedule content for social media platforms
- Promote classes, events, campaigns and community activities
- Support marketing initiatives that raise awareness of Islamwise's services and programmes
- Assist with gathering photographs, testimonials and content from events and activities

Community Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local da'wah organisations, outreach teams and community partners
- Support communication with local da'wah stalls and outreach projects
- Represent Islamwise professionally when engaging with volunteers, partners and members of the public
- Help strengthen community connections and collaborative opportunities
Revert Support:
- Act as a buddy and welcoming point of contact for new Muslims
- Help new Muslims access classes, events and support services
- Encourage participation in Islamwise programmes and activities
- Maintain regular contact with brothers and signpost them to appropriate support when required
Events, Classes & Activities:
- Support the delivery of classes, workshops, events and community activities
- Assist with event preparation, registration and attendee support
- Help prepare venues, resources and equipment
- Set up and pack away tables, chairs, displays, materials and food and drinks
- Provide practical support during events and activities

Da'wah Resources & Operations:
- Assist with organising, storing and replenishing da'wah materials and literature
- Monitor stock levels and report when resources need replenishing
- Prepare, package and dispatch literature orders
- Help maintain organised storage areas and resource inventory systems
- Assist with receiving and organising deliveries.

Green Lane Masjid and Community Centre is a leading UK mosque situated in the heart of Birmingham serving the community since 1979. Operating from its award-winning grade II listed Victorian building, GLMCC fulfils its mission of inspiring, educating and serving through its educational college, outreach work, welfare services, youth work, international humanitarian wing, as well as its fully functional mosque which is attended by thousands every week

Islamwise is dedicated to supporting revert Muslims through education, mentorship, community engagement and practical support. We work to help new Muslims build confidence in their faith and develop meaningful connections within the Muslim community.
