Business Administrator – Part-Time

Do you have at least 2 years’ experience in general business administration?

Would you like a part-time role that you can fit around your family or other commitments?

Are you someone who takes pride in the accurate and timely completion of all tasks put in front of you?

If that's you, you are the type of person our client is looking for to join their friendly team in a fast-paced office environment.

Our client is an independent employee-owned Company that delivers a comprehensive range of goods and services into the food industry based in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

They are looking for someone who is flexible and experienced in a wide range of business admin tasks to be part of the admin team.

What’s in it for you:

  • Approx. 20hrs per week, 10:00am to 2:30pm, Monday – Friday, office based.
  • Wage: £13 to £15 an hour subject to experience.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • General admin duties including answering the telephone and customer liaison.
  • Data input / updates of systems and reporting.
  • Assisting with procurement processing and logistics booking.
  • Responding to emails / queries from customers and suppliers.
  • Supporting customer service activity administration.
  • Assisting with other finance / HR admin duties as and when required.

Results expected in this position:

  • Accurately and timely completion of all tasks.
  • Uphold client satisfaction.
  • Manage own time efficiently.

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Customer-centric focused, with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and organisational skills.
  • Team player with initiative and ability to coordinate and multitask.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills are super important to GCSE A – C standard plus.
