Job Purpose

As part of our successful Business Admin Central Services Team, you will be required to support all clients across a fast-paced legal firm carrying out a variety of admin tasks. Flexibility and attention to detail are key factors, work under pressure whilst offering dedication and accuracy. Weekdays you will work with the team receiving tasks from a Workflow Co-coordinator; however, interaction with clients is a regular occurrence. Ability to work on your own is key as well as strong communication skills and multi-tasking.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regular Floor walks, observation checks and fault reporting.
  • Admin, general housekeeping of office areas i.e. meeting room checks.
  • Assisting with setting up rooms and video conference booking.
  • Assisting the events team with event preparation and facilitation.
  • Archiving, binding, E-filling, faxing, indexing, photocopying, printing, scanning, label printing.
  • Organising couriers and packing items/unpacking.
  • Booking Taxi’s for staff members.
  • Copier maintenance, filling Printer and Printer maintenance.
  • Taking internal calls.
  • Maintaining confidential bins, wires & toners bins, logging any issues promptly.
  • Ordering business cards and refilling stationery points.
  • Supporting Guest services and helping locate documents and ad hoc minor research.
  • Chrome River - Expenses
  • Other adhoc duties
  • Fire Warden Responsibilities (full training given)

Candidate Skills

  • An understanding of the Legal sector would be desirable.
  • Previous experience in Administration is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills; confident and articulate in face-to-face, telephone and written interactions.
  • Ability to cope with varying workloads.
  • Highly computer literate and experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Vision).
  • Good team player, reliable and able to establish a high degree of trust, rapport and cooperation with internal and external clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and time management with experience of working to tight deadlines.
