About the Company
Our client is an established professional membership and qualifications organisation seeking an experienced Business Analysis and Change Management Lead to support its organisational and technology transformation agenda.
About the Role
Working as part of the Technology team, this senior role will lead the organisation’s business analysis and change management capability across strategic projects, programmes and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will combine hands-on business analysis with leadership of change management approaches, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, impacts are understood and solutions are practical, user-centred and successfully adopted. The role will work closely with business leaders, delivery teams, the PMO, external partners and suppliers, while providing professional leadership, coaching and quality assurance across business analysis and change activity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and documentation of business requirements, user needs and process changes across strategic initiatives.
- Ensure requirements are clear, prioritised, traceable and aligned with organisational objectives.
- Apply business analysis techniques including process mapping, user journeys and impact assessments to support effective solution design.
- Act as the senior business analyst on complex and high-impact projects.
- Lead change management activities, ensuring impacts on people, processes and ways of working are identified and addressed.
- Develop and deliver change plans covering communications, engagement, training, readiness and adoption.
- Support leaders and managers in embedding change and reinforcing new ways of working.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement sessions across the organisation.
- Act as a trusted interface between business stakeholders, Technology teams, delivery partners and suppliers.
- Provide leadership, coaching and quality assurance for business analysis and change management activities.
- Establish and maintain standards, templates and best practice for business analysis and change management.
- Work closely with the PMO to support governance, informed decision-making and successful delivery outcomes.
- Identify and manage risks relating to project scope, business readiness and change adoption.

Qualifications
- Significant experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process improvement and business change delivery.
- Practical experience leading change management activities within organisational or technology transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques, including process mapping, user journeys, impact analysis and requirements management.
- Experience working within project, programme, product or Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading professional practice and providing quality assurance without direct line management responsibility.
- Strong workshop design and facilitation skills.
- Understanding of user-centred design, usability, accessibility and adoption principles.
- A professional qualification or equivalent experience in Business Analysis, Change Management, Organisational Change or a related discipline.

Pay range and compensation package
Salary: £70,000–£75,000 per annum, based on experience
