Role: Business Analysis - BFS Data Analysis
Location: Paddington
Type: Contract - Inside IR35
Days/Week: 4
Requirements Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and SMEs to understand business needs and objectives.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions.
- Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Perform gap analysis and impact analysis for existing and proposed systems.
- Convert business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a liaison between business users, project teams, and technology teams.
- Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and review sessions with stakeholders.
- Manage requirement sign-offs and change requests.
Documentation Process Improvement
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), use cases, workflows, and process maps.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.
- Create reports, presentations, and dashboards to support decision-making.

Agile Delivery Support
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support Product Owners in managing and prioritizing the backlog.
- Ensure requirements are clearly understood by development and testing teams.
Testing Validation
- Assist in defining test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Support SIT, UAT, and functional testing activities.
- Validate defects and work with project teams for resolution.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Experience in process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- MBA or relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or PMI-PBA are advantageous.
- Experience in Data Analysis, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
