Business Analysis Manager

London – Hybrid (2 days a week on site)
Permanent
£94,000 - £102,000 p/a

Our client is a Consultancy that combines global know-how with local insight to help their clients turn business goals into reality, by offering innovation, automation and organisational design.

Reporting into the Head of Business Analysis, the Business Analysis Manager will play a pivotal role in driving strategic business analysis initiatives, lead a small team of Business Analysts, and ensure high-quality analytical output from the team.

As Business Analysis Manager you will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Senior and Junior Business Analysts, building structured knowledge-sharing so junior talent grows fast under senior guidance.
  • Own the team strategy, define best practice, help plan work, and ensure quality in every piece of work the team produces. You won’t wait for problems to escalate – you’ll spot blockers and clear them and offer support as a point of escalation.
  • Lead best practice analysis to both internal teams and clients including workshops, facilitating discussions, and analysis documentation. You’ll mainly oversee the work of the team but will still on occasions roll your sleeves up and lead by example.
  • Bridge the gap between the business and technical teams and make sure that the clients problems have been resolved and resolved in the right way.
  • Manage competing priorities across the team and ensure that all work is delivered on time and to client expectations.

The Successful Business Analysis Manager will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role involving strategic and operational management of a BA function / team and working on a variety of projects.
  • Experience working in a consultancy environment and managing relationships and deliverables for external clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extensive experience implementing business analysis frameworks and project delivery methodologies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst managing and mentoring team members.
  • A Business Analysis qualification (BCS, CBAP, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
