About The Role
The role offers an exciting opportunity to join Kuehne+Nagel’s dynamic team as a Logistics Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to handle multiple tasks efficiently. You will work closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to streamline processes, resolve issues, and maintain high-quality service standards. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the shipment process from order placement to delivery, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to schedule pickups, manage documentation, and track shipments in real-time.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, customs declarations, and compliance paperwork to facilitate smooth customs clearance and transit.
- Resolve logistical issues promptly, including delays, damages, or discrepancies, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and inventory levels within the logistics management system.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Support the development of logistics strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Assist in negotiating rates and contracts with carriers and vendors to optimize costs.
