Job Title
Process Engineering & Business Analyst
Job Summary
The Process Engineering & Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, quality, customer experience, and operational performance. The role partners with business stakeholders, operations teams, technology teams, and transformation leaders to identify improvement opportunities, define business requirements, support automation initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Process Engineering
- Analyze current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct process mapping, value stream mapping, and workflow analysis.
- Design future-state processes that improve productivity, quality, and customer experience.
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify process bottlenecks, control gaps, and operational risks.
- Establish process governance, SOPs, and operational standards.
- Develop process performance metrics and monitoring frameworks.
Business Analysis
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs and pain points.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for operational issues.
- Support business case development and cost-benefit analysis.
- Prepare user stories, process documents, BRDs, and requirements traceability matrices.

Automation & Digital Transformation
- Identify opportunities for automation using RPA, AI, workflow tools, and intelligent automation.
- Partner with technology teams during solution design and implementation.
- Support UAT planning, testing, and deployment.
- Measure automation benefits and track realization of business outcomes.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across operational functions.
Data & Analytics
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and performance reporting.
- Define KPIs, SLAs, and process health metrics.
- Perform quantitative analysis to support decision-making.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with business leaders, operations managers, and technology teams.
- Present recommendations and transformation roadmaps to leadership.
- Facilitate change management activities and stakeholder communications.
- Support training and adoption of new processes and technologies.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- MBA preferred.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Process Excellence, Business Analysis, Operational Transformation, Consulting, or Continuous Improvement roles.
- Experience within Financial Services, Banking Operations, Payments, Capital Markets, or Shared Services preferred.
