Senior Business Analyst – Retail, Data & Digital Transformation
The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business and technology teams, translating retail challenges into data, technology, and transformation solutions.
You will support initiatives across customer experience, commercial performance, merchandising, supply chain, digital, and operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, non-functional, and data requirements.
- Analyse business processes, workflows, systems, and data to identify opportunities and improvements.
- Translate business needs into practical technology and data-driven solutions.
- Work closely with business, technology, data, and delivery teams.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Support project roadmaps, Agile delivery, backlog management, and user story development.
- Collaborate with data modelling and governance teams on data mapping, classification, and quality.

Essential Experience
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst within complex business or technology environments.
- Excellent requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within retail, ideally covering areas such as customer, eCommerce, merchandising, supply chain, inventory, or store operations.
- Experience with data, analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms, AI/GenAI, automation, or digital transformation.

Desirable
- Experience delivering large-scale retail, digital, data, or analytics transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with Azure, Databricks, and enterprise data platforms.
- Experience working with AI/GenAI-enabled solutions and data products.
