Our client, an established financial markets technology firm, is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst.
This is a hands-on role sitting between clients, Product and Engineering, with responsibility across the full technology delivery lifecycle. You will understand client problems, analyse data, define and prototype solutions, translate requirements for Development and QA, and support delivery through to implementation.
The Role
- Gather and translate client and business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Use SQL, Excel and data analysis to investigate problems and identify product improvements.
- Create mock-ups and prototypes to define solutions and build stakeholder consensus.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering and QA from requirements through to delivery and testing.
- Engage directly with clients to understand workflows, requirements and industry challenges.
- Produce product documentation, user guides and release materials.
- Support Sales with product demonstrations and proof-of-concept solutions.

What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years' experience as a Technical BA, Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant or similar.
- Strong SQL, Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience delivering software or technology solutions end-to-end within an Agile environment.
- Strong client-facing, requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience creating mock-ups, prototypes and clear technical documentation.
- Background within financial markets, asset management, investment research or FinTech is highly advantageous.
