About QBE

At QBE, we get to the heart of what matters for our customers. And we do it all with a human touch.

We’re an international insurer with more than 13,000 people working across 26 countries – which means we’re big enough for your ambitions, yet small enough for you to make a real impact. It’s an exciting time. We’re building momentum towards our vision to become the most consistent and innovative risk partner.

Your New Role

Reporting to the BA Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, elicit and analyse requirements, and support governance and delivery processes to ensure business change initiatives deliver measurable value and successful outcomes. You will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, generate innovative ideas, and foster creativity and collaboration within the teams you work with. You may specialise in process, data, business or systems analysis, applying these disciplines individually or in combination to identify opportunities for improvement, evaluate business challenges, and design or enhance business processes, workflows, applications and ways of working that deliver sustainable business value.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse, prioritise and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and analysis sessions.
  • Produce current and future-state process models using BPMN standards, ideally in Signavio.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, developers and testers to support solution delivery.
  • Support backlog refinement, testing, defect resolution and implementation activities.
  • Create and maintain analysis artefacts and project documentation in Confluence.
  • Manage requirements, user stories, defects and delivery activities in Jira.
  • Ensure deliverables align with QBE governance, quality standards and ways of working.
  • Work independently whilst integrating effectively into multi-vendor and cross-functional teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
