Business Analyst

Location: Hull
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

Consortium Professional Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a global manufacturing business in the search for a Business Analyst to join their growing IT function. This is an opportunity to influence how commercial teams work by identifying opportunities for improvement and helping deliver technology solutions that genuinely make a difference.

Working closely with colleagues across Sales and Marketing you'll become a trusted partner who understands business challenges, translates them into practical solutions and supports change from initial idea through to successful delivery. If you enjoy collaborating with people, improving processes and seeing your work have a real impact, this could be the role for you.

The Opportunity:

As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities and develop practical solutions that support commercial objectives.
  • Reviewing and improving business processes to help teams work more efficiently.
  • Translating business requirements into clear documentation that supports successful project delivery and system enhancements.
  • Coordinating testing, supporting successful implementation and helping colleagues embrace new ways of working through effective communication and training.
  • Building strong relationships across the business, acting as the link between operational teams and technical specialists to ensure solutions deliver measurable value.

Your work as a Business Analyst will play an important role in improving business performance, enhancing commercial systems and supporting the ongoing digital development of the organisation.

About You:

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, asking the right questions and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst or similar business change role.
  • The ability to gather, analyse and interpret business requirements before turning them into practical, user-focused solutions.
  • Experience working with commercial business systems or CRM platforms within a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage people at all levels.
  • A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience of Salesforce, HubSpot or other CRM platforms would be advantageous, although we're equally interested in your ability to learn new technologies and build effective working relationships.
