Ready to make a real impact for our customers and their pets? Join us as a Business Analyst!

At Animal Friends Insurance, we believe in having fun, working hard, and always striving for the best. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Business Analyst to join our IT function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You'll be stepping into a collaborative and supportive team environment, where your work will directly champion our customers and ensure we deliver good outcomes for both them and their pets.

The Role: Meaningful Projects with Real Impact

  • You will provide strategic business analysis to our business teams.
  • You will lead small to mid-size projects and assist colleagues on larger, more complex initiatives.
  • You will help deliver exciting new products and features across our digital, transactional, and management information systems.
  • You will review end-to-end business processes to identify efficiency opportunities and address technological, operational, and financial risks.
  • You will act as a vital liaison between IT and Operations to gather the business requirements needed for system enhancements and modifications.
  • You will be responsible for managing changes right through to delivery.
  • You will coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful implementations.

About You: Skills & Experience

  • You have analysis experience working within the financial sector.
  • You are used to working on both small and medium-scale projects.
  • You bring previous experience of Scrum Agile development, which includes writing Epics, features, and user stories.
  • You are skilled in analysing and improving customer journey processes, such as customer portals, digitization, and mobile applications.
  • You have strong Microsoft Excel skills to analyse transactions and customer behaviour.
  • You possess excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
