Did you know that there are at least 20m people in the UK in vulnerable financial circumstances, who are poorly served or unfairly excluded from mainstream financial services?

That’s nearly a third of all adults in the UK.

We are Fair4All Finance. We are a not-for-profit organisation working with Financial Services providers to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services.

We are continuing our work following our latest round of funding, and as a result we are now seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Process Excellence Lead) to join us during an important period of organisational change and growth.

This role is offered on an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract basis, with 3-4 days per week initially.

This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to work across the organisation, helping us understand how we operate today, identify where we can work better and turn complex business challenges into practical, sustainable improvements.

Working across people, process, technology, data and governance, you’ll partner with colleagues to understand problems, challenge assumptions and identify the underlying needs behind proposed solutions. You’ll use structured business analysis and process improvement techniques to map current ways of working, define future-state processes and requirements, and help translate these into successful change.

You’ll work with colleagues at all levels, facilitating workshops and discovery sessions, gathering requirements and providing the analysis and insight needed to make informed decisions. Importantly, you won’t just document change – you’ll help us implement and embed it.

As a growing organisation, we need someone comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving priorities. You’ll bring structure where it’s needed, alongside the pragmatism to recognise when a proportionate approach is more valuable than process for process's sake.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver business analysis across transformation and change initiatives, including discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping, gap and root cause analysis and options appraisal.
  • Map and analyse current-state “as is” processes and design practical future-state “to be” processes, considering impacts across people, process, technology, data and governance.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and other discovery activities to uncover underlying business problems, challenge assumptions and define clear requirements, user needs and success measures.
  • Develop process maps, work instructions, standard operating procedures and other clear, accessible documentation to support implementation and adoption.
  • Apply structured problem-solving and process improvement approaches to develop recommendations, business cases and practical solutions that balance organisational priorities, risks and benefits.
  • Support change impact assessment, readiness, testing and implementation activities, ensuring solutions meet agreed requirements and new ways of working are successfully embedded.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, providing constructive challenge and adapting your communication and facilitation style to different audiences and levels of change readiness.
  • Help build organisational capability by sharing business analysis and process improvement tools, techniques and good practice with colleagues.
  • Support effective change governance through appropriate documentation, RAID management, decision records and, where relevant, requirements and evaluation activity for external suppliers.
  • Work flexibly across transformation priorities, contributing beyond traditional Business Analysis activities where this supports successful delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
