Description
Two Business Analysts are required as part of the Global Master Operations (GMO) initiative. This initiative aims to define global technology standards and identify future target technologies. The GMO also focuses on establishing global processes to support these technologies, enabling consistent scaling and adoption across all regions and products.
In this team, their focus is the establishment of a consistent CRM - namely Salesforce. The primary focus is establishing a Center of Excellence to maintain the necessary pace of delivery across UKI, France, Spain, Germany, South Africa, Canada, Australia, and the US. While these regions utilize Salesforce, they do so in different ways.
GMO's objective to migrate products currently on legacy technology to the new framework, leveraging centralized APIs and integrations. The ideal scenario is for products to adopt the "org service" from the outset, allowing CRM, billing platforms, and other systems to integrate seamlessly. A significant challenge has been encouraging product teams to prioritize these prerequisites for joining the GMO, which Rich refers to as the "GMO party." Consequently, some products, particularly newer ones like Sage Active in France, Spain, and Germany, are fully integrated end-to-end within the GMO, utilizing org service, GMO integrations, APIs, and services for sales and support. However, other products, such as Intacct, have a partial integration where some sales processes are managed within the GMO, while larger components like billing, contracts, support, and portals remain on legacy systems.
Several bottlenecks have been identified within the team's operations. When numerous strategic projects are underway, the tech lead and solution architect's time is heavily consumed by discovery and related tasks. Now there is a shift in strategy driven by a wider transformation and alignment with data and digital transformation initiatives. This move will transition the team from a business-as-usual (BAU) capacity, where the business can request any enhancement or change to be prioritized and worked through a sprint, to a new model. This new approach will allow for changes that are business-critical, have a clear value and outcome, and demonstrate benefit to have a dedicated pathway. The core team's focus will be on delivering this wider transformation over the next couple of years.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

As these are large complex systems usually acquired by acquisitions over the years, or developed by those who have left the business, BAs are required to support with the challenges of identifying business critical data and documentation.
This team are primarily based in Newcastle, so having resources who could come to the office would be ideal. The two skillsets we need would be the following:
-
1 x BA focused on "As Is" analysis: Essentially able to scribe. They would need to be good at interviewing and asking the right questions to truly bottom out the As Is. We will look to them to be the SME on whatever they are focused on to ensure we have the knowledge we need to make decisions when it comes to “To Be".
-
1 x BA focused on “To Be” analysis: This resource would need to be much more curious, asking Why, Why, Why to truly help bottom out what is needed and why to ensure we make decisions focused on business outcomes and values. They need to be proactive, enthusiastic, confident. Challenging and pushing stakeholders, not just settling for the answer, always asking why, why.
They have an issue with documentation, there is a lack of, so people who can create and organize documentation as they work their way through that can then be read and viewed by the business. They do have AI tools to assist such as Claude. No specific tech stack experience, a good strong IT BA who has worked with CRMs before, preferably Salesforce. Good data analysis knowledge. Understanding of JIRA.
