About Us
We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software/technical consultancy providing new bespoke solutions to solve our customers' complex operational problems. As our business continues to grow, we are looking to recruit a Junior Business Analyst Account Manager to join the Law Enforcement team.
The Opportunity
As a junior Business Analyst within CACI IIG, you will work closely with Senior Analysts and other subject matter professionals in gathering, validating, and documenting various system information and needs. Working in a hybrid way with regular trips to meet customers in London, you will be required to carry out an in-depth evaluation and verification of the capabilities of systems, serving as a point of contact between the end-users and software developers, to ensure that product information is properly disseminated. Typical responsibilities will include:
- Working with business areas to define business benefits, creating benefits maps and introducing measures to baseline, track and report progress against targets
- Liaising with consultants and managers to document business processes effectively
- Acquiring in-depth knowledge of existing business processes and systems, documenting process models and task analysis, to identify areas for potential process improvement
- Creating and developing requirements of systems to improve quality, performances, external interfaces, and constraints
- Outlining requirement specifications with the use of standard templates for both use cases
- Supervising requirements traceability information and recording requirements status in the course of the project
- Contributing to the development of test plans, test scripts, training documents and videos
- Initial triage of new tickets prior to team allocation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
