The Opportunity
A Business Analyst plays a key role in shaping solutions that deliver real business value. Working closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams, you'll uncover needs, define clear requirements, and help turn ideas into impactful outcomes. From analysing complex challenges to supporting delivery and measuring success, you'll be at the heart of driving change, influencing decisions, and continuously improving the way we work. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a visible impact while developing your expertise within a collaborative and evolving BA community.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to create shared understanding.
- Engage stakeholders early to identify needs, shape direction and support successful outcomes.
- Explore, analyse and validate business needs.
- Define clear problem statements and desired outcomes using structured Business Analysis techniques.
- Define and document business needs, requirements and solution scope.
- Ensure requirements are clear, testable and traceable from business need through to delivered value.
- Produce clear, testable requirements and maintain traceability from need to outcome.
- Collaborate with business SMEs, architects and engineering teams to enable effective solutions.
- Support delivery through the full lifecycle, ensuring requirements remain aligned to business outcomes.
- Help measure benefits and demonstrate value delivered.
- Apply consistent BA framework, standards and methodologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the BA practice/communities.

What You'll Bring
- Understanding of business priorities, objectives and desired outcomes, with the ability to support evidence-based decision making.
- Experience acting as the interface between business and technology stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and influence outcomes.
- Ability to produce clear, testable requirements and collaborate with SMEs, architects and engineering teams to enable effective solutions.
- Experience owning requirements through the lifecycle, supporting benefit realisation and outcome measurement.
- Knowledge of BA frameworks, standards and methodologies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- A value-focused approach that understands stakeholder needs, solves business problems and maintains focus on outcomes.
- Strong written, verbal and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across business and technology audiences.
- A collaborative mindset with curiosity, critical thinking, accountability and a commitment to demonstrating RS Values.
- Proven ability to lead analysis on complex initiatives and professional BA qualifications (e.g. BCS, IIBA) are desirable.
