Business Analyst (Contract) 📍 Remote 💰 Up to £400 per day 📄 Outside IR35

Identify Solutions are supporting a consultancy partner delivering a transformation programme for a large public sector organisation and are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the team.

This role will see you working across business, technical and compliance stakeholders to understand current processes, capture requirements, assess impacts and risks, and help shape future ways of working within a regulated environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Gathering and documenting business and non-functional requirements
  • Facilitating stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions
  • Conducting process analysis, gap analysis and impact assessments
  • Reviewing existing processes and identifying improvements
  • Assessing risks, dependencies and governance considerations
  • Supporting service and process design activities
  • Producing clear documentation, recommendations and project artefacts
  • Working closely with delivery, technical and compliance teams

What we're looking for

  • Strong Business Analysis experience on transformation or technology programmes
  • Public sector experience is essential
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
  • Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping
  • Experience conducting impact assessments and risk analysis
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Experience working within regulated or governance-heavy environments
