Expleo is seeking an experienced Business Analyst

Expleo is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of strategic Claims and CRM transformation initiatives within a complex Agile environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions, working across multiple workstreams to analyse requirements, define functional solutions, and produce high-quality Agile delivery artefacts. This role requires a strong blend of business analysis, systems analysis, and delivery support capabilities, with a particular focus on creating build-ready requirements that enable development teams to deliver efficiently and effectively.

Working closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, Test Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, and business stakeholders, the Business Analyst will contribute throughout the delivery lifecycle, from discovery and analysis through to implementation and post-release review.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes, systems, and operational requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and transformation.
  • Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artefacts.
  • Conduct current-state and future-state analysis, identifying gaps, impacts, dependencies, and solution options.
  • Capture and document business rules, validation requirements, decision logic, and exception handling scenarios.
  • Analyse data requirements, field mappings, integrations, workflows, and process dependencies to support solution delivery.
  • Produce process maps, workflow diagrams, business models, wireframes, screen mock-ups, and supporting documentation where required.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to define feasible and scalable solution approaches.
  • Develop implementation-ready user stories aligned to business objectives and delivery requirements.
  • Ensure backlog items meet the agreed Definition of Ready prior to sprint planning.
  • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and prioritisation activities.
  • Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and support solution delivery throughout the sprint lifecycle.
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements from discovery through design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Assist with solution validation, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and release activities.
  • Support the management of risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and change requests impacting delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder engagements with both technical and business audiences.
  • Build effective working relationships with Product Owners, business stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and solution designs in a manner appropriate to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Support decision-making by providing analysis, recommendations, and evidence-based solution options.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
