About The Role
We are experiencing rapid growth and undergoing transformation, as the Business Analyst you will work within the BA team to help deliver new features to our varied customer base. We are continuously looking to improve a client’s onboarding journey from the point of registration, account applications, processing of the accounts including necessary KYC, sanctions, and regulatory checks to the point the users’ account is successfully opened. This covers support across the various regions CMC Markets operates in, each with their own regional requirements.
You will experience highly engaged senior stakeholders and help manage and support the delivery of a varied set of strategic projects across different areas of the products. It is a fast-paced environment with a fantastic culture, driven by innovation and a desire to excel in what we do.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, industry experience, and strong communication skills. Relevant qualifications include a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate proven experience in a Business Analyst role within financial services, particularly in client onboarding, CRM, or sales processes. A solid understanding of Agile methodologies and familiarity with wireframing/prototyping tools like Miro or Figma are essential. Knowledge of XML/JSON and an understanding of integrated IT systems and software development lifecycle will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities
- Engage with project stakeholders to lead comprehensive analysis on strategic projects across various platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
- Create detailed and high-quality user stories that accurately represent business requirements, translating these into technical specifications for development and QA teams.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on the client onboarding journey, ensuring a seamless and positive user experience.
- Manage and prioritize the backlog of requirements for the development team, facilitating efficient delivery of features and enhancements.
- Assist in the acceptance testing of project deliverables, ensuring quality standards are met and supporting existing systems as needed.
- Conduct impact analyses for requirement changes, evaluating effects on operations, systems, and client experience.
- Generate and monitor reports to track performance metrics and the impact of changes on client journeys, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders are professional, fair, and consistent, reflecting positively on CMC Markets.
- Ensure confidentiality and data security are maintained at all times, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Undertake additional duties, training, or work hours as reasonably required, aligned with the responsibilities of the role and organizational needs.
