Business Analyst – Process & Systems Transformation

Permanent, full-time | Glasgow | Hybrid: minimum two days per week in our Glasgow office/client sites
£40,000–£50,000 + 5% pension contribution + 30 days’ annual leave + Apple Mac and all required software

We are building a high-calibre transformation consultancy and are looking for a thoughtful, ambitious Business Analyst to join our growing team.
You will help clients understand how their organisations really work, identify where processes, systems and ways of working can improve, and turn complex information into clear, practical recommendations.

This is a client-facing consulting role. You will work across varied assignments, from Finance, HR and Payroll to engineering, asset management and broader operational transformation. You will work closely with our Senior Business Analyst and Engagement Director, while taking real ownership of your own analysis and deliverables.

What you will do

  • Support discovery across unfamiliar and complex client environments.
  • Prepare for and contribute to workshops, interviews and process-review sessions.
  • Map end-to-end processes, including roles, hand-offs, systems, controls, data, exceptions and pain points.
  • Analyse current ways of working to identify inefficiency, rework, control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
  • Help define future-state processes, business requirements and practical recommendations.
  • Produce clear, high-quality client deliverables, including process maps, workshop outputs, requirements and analysis.
  • Maintain structured records of requirements, decisions, risks, issues and actions.
  • Build trusted working relationships with client stakeholders through careful listening, preparation and reliable follow-through.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The person

You are naturally curious and enjoy understanding how things work. You ask good questions, listen closely and notice the detail others can miss.
You are structured, practical and comfortable working with people. You can make sense of ambiguous information, communicate clearly and take pride in work that is accurate, useful and well presented.
You want to build a career in transformation consulting—not simply write documents or follow a narrow internal process.

Why join us

You will work on meaningful client challenges from the outset, with exposure to senior leaders and operational teams across different sectors.
You will receive close support from experienced transformation leaders while building the skills and confidence to lead workstreams yourself. There is a clear route to become a Senior Business Analyst and, over time, a Lead Business Analyst.
We are building a consultancy with high standards, real ambition and a belief that good analysis should lead to tangible improvement.
