PROJECT ANALYST, TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL CHANGE

If you are an early-career analyst looking to build your experience across meaningful operational and digital change within a large, established organisation, this is worth reading. The organisation operates within a complex, highly regulated environment and is investing in a broad programme of technology, process and operational improvement. The wider change function works across digital delivery, data, customer and colleague journeys, and internal systems. The focus is on simplifying processes, improving how teams work together and delivering better outcomes across the organisation.

The role

This is a junior to intermediate-level analyst role within a technology and change function, supporting a programme focused on how work moves between people, systems and teams. The core requirement is a good foundation in analysis, including process mapping, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and clear documentation.

You do not need previous experience with workflow or automation platforms. The organisation will provide support and training to help you develop your knowledge of the technology. You will work alongside experienced analysts, technology teams and operational stakeholders, building your capability while gradually taking greater ownership of your own areas of analysis.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Why it’s worth a look

The role is built around transferable analyst skills rather than experience with a particular technology or toolset. It is therefore open to candidates from a range of operational, business analysis, project or digital change backgrounds.

You will contribute to live change initiatives, gain exposure to both business and technology teams, and develop practical experience across the analysis lifecycle. The organisation is established, the change programme is active and the work will have a visible impact on how its teams and services operate.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the mapping of current and future-state business processes, including decision points, handovers, exceptions and responsibilities.
  • Produce clear documentation such as process maps, requirements documents, user stories and workshop notes.
  • Participate in workshops and interviews with operational and business stakeholders to understand their processes, challenges and requirements.
  • Support experienced analysts in translating business requirements into clear and practical outcomes for technology and delivery teams.
  • Carry out gap analysis between existing processes, user needs and proposed future-state solutions.
  • Help identify risks, assumptions, dependencies and areas requiring further clarification.
  • Support test preparation, defect management and implementation readiness by helping ensure acceptance criteria, business rules and process scenarios are clearly documented.
  • Build your knowledge of structured change delivery, digital transformation and workflow technology through practical project experience.
