Position: Business Analyst

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract

Hourly Rate: £39.90

Contract Length: 12 months

Working Pattern: Full Time

Location: London

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join their dynamic team on a fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying business needs, analysing processes, and recommending solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for improvement within business processes.
  • Develop detailed business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements and feedback.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including requirements specifications, process maps, and user stories.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Support change management initiatives by preparing training materials and conducting training sessions as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within Tech.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Proficient in documenting requirements and creating process maps using industry-standard tools.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in managing changing priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and recommending solutions.
