About the Company
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in the successful delivery of cloud-based business solutions for strategic government and commercial clients.
About the Role
Working closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists, you will be responsible for gathering and refining requirements, facilitating workshops, modelling business processes, supporting solution delivery, and ensuring successful user adoption. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile transformation programmes within secure and regulated environments.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and define future-state solutions.
- Produce high-quality business process models using BPMN 2.0.
- Create and maintain functional requirements, user stories, use cases, process maps, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain traceability between business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivered solutions.
- Work closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and stakeholders to shape and prioritise delivery backlogs.
- Define and document acceptance criteria and support Definition of Done activities.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable deliverables for technical teams.

Delivery & Implementation Support
- Support release planning, demonstrations, user acceptance testing, and implementation activities.
- Communicate business impacts, risks, and requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct impact assessments relating to business processes, systems, data, and users.
- Contribute to training materials, user guidance, communications, and adoption activities.
- Ensure delivered solutions remain aligned with business objectives and expected outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor for business requirements clarification and stakeholder management.
- Identify opportunities to improve analysis, documentation, and delivery processes.
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree or equivalent commercial experience.
- Recognised Business Analysis qualification is required, such as:
- BCS Business Analysis
- BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis
- IIBA CBAP
- IIBA CCBA
- PMI-PBA
- Equivalent recognised Business Analysis certification
Desirable
- Additional Agile, Change Management, or Project Management certifications.
Required Skills
Analysis & Requirements
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Skilled in requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, process mapping, and business process modelling.
- Ability to interpret complex business challenges and translate them into practical solutions.

Communication & Documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience producing high-quality documentation including:
- User stories
- Process maps
- Business requirements
- Functional specifications
- Acceptance criteria
Delivery
- Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, or similar cloud-based technologies.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced delivery environments.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in changing environments.

Pay range and compensation package
Due to project security and contractual requirements: Applicants must be sole UK nationals. Dual nationality cannot be considered for this position. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance. Evidence of nationality and clearance eligibility may be required as part of the recruitment process.
