Client Deployment Role Description

Albany Beck is supporting a major banking transformation programme and is looking for a mid-level Treasury Business Analyst to support a key regulatory change workstream.

The successful candidate will work closely with Treasury subject matter experts and wider programme stakeholders to gather and document requirements, assess current and target-state processes, identify gaps, and support the design and implementation of the Treasury operating model.

The role will also support activity relating to a Credit Institution licence application and associated regulatory requests, requiring someone with a strong Business Analysis background and good Treasury knowledge within a regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business and regulatory requirements across the Treasury workstream.
  • Work with Treasury SMEs and stakeholders to understand existing processes, controls, systems and governance.
  • Support current-state and target-state process mapping.
  • Perform gap analysis against regulatory, operational and programme requirements.
  • Translate regulatory and Treasury requirements into clear business requirements and deliverables.
  • Support the design and implementation of Treasury processes, controls and operating model changes.

  • Identify and track risks, issues, dependencies and outstanding actions across the workstream.
  • Work closely with Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Tax, Technology and other programme teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to capture requirements and drive decisions.
  • Support testing, implementation and business readiness activities where required.
  • Ensure requirements remain aligned to the wider programme objectives and regulatory expectations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
