Business Analyst – Middle East Banking (Islamic Banking) | 12-Month Contract (English Speaking)
Location: Remote
Contract: 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Day Rate: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience
We're supporting a leading global technology consultancy on a major banking transformation programme in the Middle East and are looking to speak with experienced Business Analysts with a strong background in Middle Eastern banking.
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you'll work with business and technology stakeholders to capture, analyse and document business requirements, supporting the delivery of key transformation initiatives within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
- Produce BRDs, functional specifications, user stories and process maps.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and SMEs.
- Work closely with development, testing and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support business process improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Ensure solutions align with business, operational and regulatory requirements.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a Middle Eastern bank.
- Experience working within an Islamic (Sharia-compliant) banking environment.
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience delivering banking transformation or change programmes.
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.

Desirable
- Knowledge of core banking platforms, payments, lending or digital banking.
- Previous experience working with a global consultancy or systems integrator.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
