Business Analyst | Permanent & Contract Opportunities
Chroma Recruitment is working with an established organisation undergoing an exciting period of technology transformation and growth. We are looking for experienced Business Analysts to join their Strategy and Technology Delivery function, with opportunities available on both a permanent and contract basis.
The Role
Working closely with Senior Business Analysts, Programme Managers and wider technology teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering technology and business change initiatives across a complex, multi-site organisation.
You’ll provide effective business analysis across existing systems, processes and new technology implementations, helping the business understand requirements, identify opportunities for improvement and successfully deliver change.
You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions, alongside Digital and Engineering teams, third-party suppliers and delivery partners, to design and implement solutions to business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Analyse business opportunities, challenges and requirements to understand the underlying business needs and determine appropriate solutions.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements, ensuring they are complete, clear and easily understood by technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to map current and future-state processes, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce detailed business process maps, requirements documentation, data flows and system interaction diagrams.
- Validate and verify requirements to ensure they align with the identified business need, have appropriate stakeholder approval and meet relevant quality and financial control standards.
- Support business teams in defining benefits cases, developing ROI models and assessing potential solution options.
- Liaise with Digital, Engineering and technology delivery partners throughout the systems development lifecycle.
- Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service quality.
- Ensure proposed processes and solutions meet relevant regulatory requirements, internal controls and industry best practice.
- Support the implementation of business and technology change, including system requirements, testing, UAT and change management activities.
- Coordinate user training and provide support during the implementation and early-life support of new systems.

Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ Business Analysis experience, ideally within a complex multi-site environment.
- Strong experience in business process mapping and process improvement.
- Good knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), ideally with practical experience using BPMN 2.0.
- Experience across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, business change, testing and implementation.
- Experience working with multi-site and/or multi-country business requirements.
- Exposure to enterprise systems across areas such as Operations, HR and Finance.
- The ability to work independently, solve complex problems and think strategically.
- Experience or knowledge of data modelling and AI concepts, technologies and applications.
- Proficiency with tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Confluence, Jira and Miro.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence and present to stakeholders at different levels.
- Experience working with technical teams, third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
