Business Analyst – AI & Agentic Transformation

Location: London, hybrid with 3 days onsite initially

Start: November

Duration: Nine months initial contract

IR35: Inside IR35

About The Opportunity

SR2 Consulting is looking for experienced Business Analysts to support the introduction of AI into a complex organisation operating within a regulated environment.

You’ll work with business teams and technical specialists to establish where AI can improve existing activities, what a successful solution should achieve and how it should behave in practice. The work requires someone who can investigate unfamiliar processes, ask challenging questions and turn competing priorities into a clear basis for delivery.

Your Role

You’ll follow a business problem from initial discovery through to testing, helping the team build solutions that people can use with confidence.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Running discovery sessions to understand users’ needs, existing processes and operational constraints.
  • Identifying suitable opportunities for automation and defining the expected benefits.
  • Producing clear requirements, process designs and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Working through how AI-enabled workflows should handle decisions, exceptions and handovers between people and technology.
  • Establishing when users should review, approve, intervene in or stop an automated action.
  • Helping teams translate internal policies into practical requirements for system behaviour.
  • Considering how proposed solutions could affect different users and documenting requirements for fair, transparent outcomes.
  • Agreeing how outputs will be assessed, including how potential bias or unintended effects should be identified.
  • Keeping business and delivery stakeholders aligned as requirements evolve.
  • Raising risks and dependencies early and supporting their resolution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
